Racing Information Pro 4 s #38 Jimmy Dennis . We have a brand new engine this year, so hold on to your helmet, we are going to go now! Not bad at all for a guy in a wheelchair.( #38 Wheelchair Motorsports). Without Jimmy we would not be producing 5 race cars at Unity Raceway and we thank him for his support. On May 5th Jimmy broke an axle and hit the outside bank. Damaging the car . Jimmys crew fixed the car and totally resetup the suspention. On May 25th Jimmy got his first win of 2007. Since Jimmy has taken 5 more checked flags. The car and Jimmy are the fastest pro-4 on the track Super Huge Thanks to Rusty and Paul and Scott for all they do. It paid off. Jimmy is in 3rd place in the pionts and we expect his first championship in 2007. Mini Stocks #10x Kevin Nutting Kevin or K-Nutt. As we call him won the 2006 truck championship. For this year he has had to rebuild his truck to comform to the mini stock rules and has raced four times this year .He has had a 5th place finish and has since had engine trouble. K-Nutt is currently working on getting it fixed and back on the track.Check out Knutts web site www.nuttingracing.8m.com Jim or Swany.or Swelvis, the man of many names has built a new truck for the 2007 season. He has run 4 races this year averaging finishes around 10th place. Two weeks ago Swelvis finished 5th but took 1st place due to a technical disqualification. This week Swany finished third behind the 0x and 24 cars. The truck and Swany seem to be improving. Saturday we went to Wiscasett raceway and ran with the mini stocks , just about toasted the motor and broke the exhaust but finished the race midpack. #3 James Swan III James or Swany Jr. As we call him has had his up and downs in the Teen Thunder Class on Thursday nights at Unity Raceway and finished 4th in the 2006 season. This year he is driving a truck in the ministocks. So far its a normal year with 1 crash , finishing him 17th , handling problems from the crash finishing him 9th , and then a 2nd place with the most impressive run of the season finishing the last 5 laps door to door with the 0x car and crossing the finish line backwards after bumping coming to the finish line. We are very impressed with James and again he is the up and coming star in the EB Stable. The next week he totaled his truck in a bad accident in turn two. He is ok but then truck will take monthes to fix. Thanks to the Home Place in Waterville we were able to buy him an other truck but it needed an engine and other things to make it race ready, so in the mean time he had to drive the 38x his dads truck to maintian his points. He has had some problems but is a consistant middle of the pack finisher. The #3 truck provided by The home Place is up and running but still has some handling issues to work out. Friday the 13th James finished 12th.This Friday James (Swan Jr) had a better run and finished 5th. The truck is getting close. Mini Stock and Womans Thrillers #OO Alica Goodwin Alica is a new addition to the Stable and raced last year for only a few races at the end of the year. This year she was driving a 1994 Ford Escort with the mini stocks but a crash in a heat race totaled the car. She got a 1990 Honda CRX and in her first race with the women she took 2nd place and has since had a 5th,an 8th,a 4th and two 3rd place finishes. On 07/28/07 she ran her first race at Wiscassett and finished 4th. With a few adjustments ,we hope to get better each week and are looking for a cheched flag this year.
